We invite you to enjoy our riverfront campsites on the crystal
clear Black River in the Missouri Ozarks this season! If
floating, camping, Missouri horseback
riding, and relaxing in the outdoors is the good time you're
dreaming of, look no further! We're located just 105 miles
southwest of St. Louis, a short 2 hour drive from the traffic
and mayhem of the city. Bring your horse! Riversedge
is a horse friendly campground in Lesterville, MO in the Southeast

Nothing is more fun for the entire family than a
camping trip in the Ozarks. Our campground is located on the banks
of the delightful Black River. We have over 100 campsites, over
half of which are equipped with electric and water hookups. Many
are right on our 1/2 mile of beach front. The rest are within
a short walk of our crystal clear river. Most of our sites are
large enough for 2 families to camp together. (For your comfort,
we suggest only 2 tents per site). We provide modern bathroom
facilities with flush toilets and hot showers. While
here, why not enjoy a float trip on our beautiful river or a memorable
side trip to Johnson's Shut-ins, Elephant Rocks or Taum Sauk Mountain?
Many of Missouri's natural wonders are within minutes of our campground.
If you have friends or family members that want to join you on
your trip but don't enjoy sleeping outdoors
in a tent, they can still join you for your funfilled
vacation. We invite them to stay in a cabin or cottage "next
door" at our famous sister resort. . . Wilderness
Lodge. If you choose, The Lodge offers
an elegant "family style" breakfast and dinner that
your whole family or group can enjoy together. Meals for
Riversedge guests are offered by advance reservation only,
so please let us know when you are making plans for your visit.
An extensive wine list and cocktail hour on the deck overlooking
a pristine Ozark landscape is offered to all reserved dinner guests
of the Lodge.
Just
imagine— a peaceful, float in the misty morning hours, or maybe-if
you prefer to be with the river crowd . . . a midday float in
the warm sunshine. Take along a picnic lunch. Your stopping point
is back here at the campground, so enjoy the whole day at your
own pace!
We have rafts, canoes, and tubes
available. We suggest watertight containers, straps for eyeglasses,
and good wading shoes for your trip. For your convenience, these
items are available along with ice, necessities and sundries in
our campground store.
For those of you who enjoy trailriding
and wouldn't think of going on vacation without your horse, we
are one of the few campgrounds in Missouri that provides
horse stalls. We have over 5,000 acres for you
to ride . . . Special stalls now available for your stallions,
teams and wagons are welcome.
Reservations are strongly suggested
for all of our services. We accept MC, Visa, & Discover in
our office for your convenience.
